Patton ki bundon ko
Dharti par gir jaane do,
Badlon ka seena chir
Suraj ko aane do|
Dharti abhi narma hai
Bhiga uska charm hai,
Chamdi k daag ko
Mitti me mil jaane do-
Suraj ko aane do|
Patton me hariyali hai
Kintu dhara kaali hai,
Kirno ka swarna rup
Dharti me tarne do,
Kirno ko jharne do|
Aaj dhara sukh gai
Daal hari tut gai,
Paani ki bund gai,
Dharti hai phoot gai|
Suraj ki swarna lehar
Aag si pratit howe,
Dharti ka cheer haran! !
Suraj kyon maun rahe?
Haath jo mein kaatun tera ,haath mera bhi kate;
Mai dilaun ashru tujhko,ashru mujhko bhi mile|

About the poem:
The poem reflects the ongoing deforestation process and its effect on the temperature rise on earth which results in drought conditions. The poem visualizes that the sun is reacting to our deeds which have uncovered the holy mother i.e. Earth.It reflects the conditions before and after deforestation.
